Hii Joju,vikas,mujeeb..Nice to c u all here.I didnt get a full idea regarding this,what i understood i will explain,if any mistakes pls let me knw.Here we have 2 groups.one group leading by vikas & another by pozhan.I can join either with vikas or with pozhan.and we have to edit the other cws and schedule it.That means we cannot play cws more.Joju pls explain the things.

'ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളി'യിൽ വലിയ പരിചയമൊന്നുമില്ല. സഞ്ജുവിന്റെ സംശയവും അതിന്റെ മറുപടിയും ഒരളവുവരെ

 രണ്ടു ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളിലായി ഈ 7 പേർ ജോയിൻ ചെയ്യും. (അവരവരുടെ താത്പര്യമനുസരിച്ച്-അല്ലേ?).  

അതിനു ശേഷം ഓരോരുത്തരുടെയും ജോലികൾ/ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങൾ എന്തെന്നും എങ്ങനെയെന്നും  വഴിയേ ശ്രീ. ജോജു നിർദ്ദേശിക്കുമോ? അതോ അംഗങ്ങൾ സ്വയം തീരുമാനിക്കണമോ? അതുകൂടി ഒന്നു ക്ലിയർ ചെയ്താൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു.
 ഒരു ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ 'ലീഡർജി' ആക്കിയതിനു നന്ദി. സന്തോഷം. (ഒരു പാരയാവില്ലല്ലോ? :) )

We have to decide a name for each group. May be for convenience of reference. OK.

You might be knowing that we have plenty of projects to do for mashithantu as well as for our company. we all are working in different companies for living. mashithantu is just a hobby to promote malayalam.

and definitely you are better than any one of us in playing the crosswords, discussing malayalam and so on. so we have decided to give you more control on the game. Approval business!! our aim is to reduce the issues in the crosswords.

why two group?
= it will help you to play other group's crossword. and will be missing your group's crossword. it is sad. I know.

what should be the name?
= it should not be popular brands. like mathrubhumi, v-gaurd, sony etc. avoid it.
you may choose a beautiful/meaningful malayalam name.
avoid your wife/mothers/kids name.


what is the importance of the group name?
= each crossword would be part of any one of the group. it would appear in the top_scorer.php links like ..../top_scorer.php?group=MASHITHANTU&event=KRKT

can you conduct different events?
=Yes. one after another. and even both group may conduct competition in parallel. events are again a sub-division. you may choose event name also.(different from group name)

can you schedule crossword?
= Yes, Owner can schedule crosswords. be careful not to conflict with other group competition days. choose alternative days

would mashithantu team help you ?
= yes,of course. we will be in the background.

Can you resign from the approval job?
=Yes, we may substitute other players for next event.

Can you quit now?
=Yes. If you think, you are not suitable for approving crosswords. it is not easy task anyway. finding other mistake is a dirty job too.

This forum is stand alone. you may discuss anything without comment moderation. but do not publish this link in crossword page now.

when will your work start.?

=after KRKT event. we need a small testing with a set of old crosswords for trail.

if you are not interested in two group, we may avoid it.
single group, a group owner, two approver. (3 would be enough). and will rotate people after two events. you may decide it here.

others can join Dictionary work. Jalaja chechi would be interested in dictionary work more than this. your ideas are welcome

രണ്ടു ഗ്രൂപ്പുകള്‍ എന്ന ആശയം കൊള്ളാം. പദപ്രശ്നം കളിക്കാന്‍ താല്പര്യമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് അതാവും സൌകര്യം. ആദ്യ ഗ്രൂപ്പില്‍ ചേരാന്‍ താല്പര്യമുള്ളവര്‍ കൈ പൊക്കൂ. :)

I also agree with Sanju for 2 groups.

One or Two crosswords in a week would be better.:-
-For an average player it takes 2-4 hours to complete a crossword.
-We have to be sincere with the official duties also.
-We get 3-4 days for new players and for discussion.
-Two groups can schedule it alternatively.

I have one condition only. do not schedule two crosswords in 48hours time frame for a group. depends on your group interest, you may even restrict yourself. keep an eye on Mathrubhumi crosswords.mostlikely they will continue their crossword competition.

jalaja chechi may quit from crossword approval. and I will let you know about dictionary admin work. Also Can you help me to write a Malayalam/English help documents for players, crossword makers, group approvers. I will give you data from blogs.

you may interchange team now. ( or you may change team, ownership after 3 months)

now decide group name and first event name . remember you can't change the group name, event name once it is set.

work flow: a Brief idea.

1. the crossword by default assign to group owner. once crossword maker "Publish" the crossword, it will appear to group owner panel.
2. he can check for basic rules, like verify-crossword button. (be very strict on this condition)
if it is not well connected, try more connectivity himself and/or reject.
while rejecting, send a "Chat" message with reason. It will reach as Mails to the crossword maker, mashithantu admin, and to the approver.
3. if basic stuff done, assign the crossword to your group member.
4. The group member can now see the crossword in his plate.
5. group member can edit the crossword.
he can still use the "Chat" box for clarification, suggestion etc.
6. if the crossword require major repairing, reject it with "Chat" comments. (You should say the reason while rejecting)
7. if things are done, change the Status as "Approve Ready".
8. upon seeing the status message, group owner can set a start date, end date etc.
9. now unlock the crossword for activation.
10. double check the settings. and "activate" the crossword.

Chat: elaborated communication channel. ask for more clarity from the crossword maker. she/he can add reference links as reply.

AnswerEdit: owner/approver may edit the whole crossword as they wish. (after you change the clues/answers, press Save-My-Answers button only.

DateEdit: this is the Settings section. set the Status, start date, last date here. you may even set a negative bonus to the crossword maker. (avoid setting this section without consulting admin team). You can also Unlock the crossword, set Quickhints for the player.

Activate/Bounce buttons are available for Activating/Rejecting the crossword.

Blog will automatically get published while Activating the crossword.

20 ലും നല്ലത് 25 ആയിരിക്കും. 20 ല്‍ ഒരു ബോണസ്‌ കിടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് അത് മിസ്സാകും
